First topic message reminder :

This down loadable guide will be available soon it will cover everything from In-game controls to The source code and how to work with the server files. Basically a alternative for the lazy people who don't want to go into the tutorial section.

When I get to the Solution.sln, I double click on it and it takes me to Visual Studio... But a pop up comes up and says, "One or more projects in the solution were not loaded correctly. Please see the Output Window for details." What do I do?

Its probably stating that something is incorrect or not found/not loaded redownload the kito source if it is saying it cannot find the project.

I can't get the Solution.sln to work!!! I extracted everything, went to Winrar, opened up Kito folder, and went down and double clicked Solution.sln and it opened up in Visual Studio. But when I got into Visual Studio, a pop up came and said, "One or more projects in the solution were not loaded correctly. Please see the Output Window for details." What do I do?!?!?!

One includes media,
one excludes media.

Download the one you need- there is no 'better' one.

Don't just open in Winrar and open through Winrar.

PostSubject: My Questions for Solution.sln   Sun Apr 26, 2015 6:28 pm

I've had so many freaking problems with this! I've read the tutorial for dummies and ugh... So before I ask you all my questions, here is the steps I did...

1. Downloaded "Includes" Media (Source)
2. Downloaded "Visual Studio 2013"
3. Downloaded "Winrar"
4. DnsDynamic (Still waiting for activation email -.- )

5. Extracted all files in "Winrar"
6. Double clicked into "Kito" folder
7. Went to bottom and double clicked "Solution.sln" to open it
8. Opens in "Visual Studio"

Once I got into "Visual Studio", a pop up error came up and said, "One or more projects in this solution were not loaded correctly. Please see the Output Window for details." So I clicked "OK" and continued.

I looked to the right side at the tab that says, "game, gameserver, loginserver". But they didn't say that. They said, "game (unavailable), gameserver (unavailable), loginserver (unavailable)."

So after that, I exit out of "Visual Studio" and went back to "Winrar". I double clicked the "Kito" folder. Instead of going to "Solution.sln", I went to "Config" then to "Gameconfig.h". So that opened with all the options and everything - but there was no "Build Solution" option.

I don't know what to do. ;-; Anyway, my questions are below. I'd appreciate it if you could answer them. (Some of them are questions about the "Gameconfig.h" thing)

1. Why are the projects missing?
2. How do I change the colors for the chat? Are you only allowed to use three digits? Cuz' I want pink for one of them but I don't know the code for pink. :3
3. Can I change the amount of "Max Tails, Max Markings...ect"?

Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase answer my questions - I have a really good I.T server in the making.

For number 2, in Gameconfig.h:

#define CHAT_GENERAL_COLOUR_TOP "0 1 0"
#define CHAT_GENERAL_COLOUR_BOTTOM "1 0 0"
#define CHAT_PARTY_COLOUR_TOP "1 1 0"
#define CHAT_PARTY_COLOUR_BOTTOM "1 0 0"

Party, general, and local are the three chat types IT has. Each one is like a gradient, top and bottom. If you want them the same then make both of the numbers the same. Pink should be 1 0 1.
3: Yes, you can change the amount, but you cannot decrease that amount after and you must know how to add the textures, models, etc. into the game and rename them correctly for them to show up in your character selector.

1.) 0.6 1 0 is a lime green
2.) 1 1 1
3.) Have you tried checking your spam folder and/or resending the email?
