PostSubject: Compile replacing   Wed Oct 18, 2017 2:43 pm

When compiling for example a new release, it replaces my items.cfg and campaigns.cfg -files. Is there any way I can make it, like, not replace them? By now I've just kept a backup of the edited files, and just replaced them afterwards.

Thank you in advance!

You could make a separate folder on your desktop labeled your servers name and stick all your content in there to prevent it from happening. The compile is set to automatically do that, since it just rebuilds the source, giving you the same thing it gave you when you first compiled. I don't think there is a way to prevent it from replacing.

Hope it helps!

The compile pulls these files from the static->client folder. Put the updated version of those files here and it'll copy those instead of the outdated originals.

Wow, thank you! I didn't know the fix was that simple. Surprised
