PostSubject: Solved: (404 Error) Blender 2.49 Importer?   Thu Aug 31, 2017 7:12 am

Hello everyone. . .

I went into this Link:
http://www.kitopen.com/t411-blender-2-49-import-extension-addon-plugin
And I Downloaded and tested the blender and python versions.

But when I try to access this Link:
http://kito.staunhansen.dk/download/importTL.py
I receive a 404 error.

Am I missing something or accidentally overlooked a post for this same plugin or?
(Even though I searched through the internet and this site and can't seem to find anything quite like it.)

I have the modelling skills, but I can't seem to find the extensions to import .mesh files (assuming what the "importTL.py" is for)

I already found the Ogre Exporter http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45922
Now I just need the Ogre Importer. . .
I would really appreciate a hand or two.

Thank you For taking your time to read this. (:

-Sincerely, someone who has lost their mind at 12:00 AM

EDIT:
"cvs.sourceforge.net’s server DNS address could not be found.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN"
Error For this Link http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/ogre/ogreaddons/blenderimport/ogre_import.py

Edit:
After Rummaging through the comments section two links above, I found this
https://sites.google.com/site/bodergames/OGRE3D-Mesh-importer.py?attredirects=0
( From this page http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9135&start=100 )
It seems to work and  says it has "Skeleton Support".

So far I do not see any thing going wrong other than that when I import a mesh and export it into a .obj Sculptris pulls up a red flag saying "there are no vertices". Ill try to figure that one out.

Edit:
Messed around on blender until I was able to edit it then was able to export it and import it into Sculptris.

Well. I guess I am good now. Well...
I am finally going to go get some sleep now.
I hope people find this useful (some how) too.
