Hello everyone!

I made a NPC and it spawns great, however, I would like this critter to always sit in one place or walk a certain distance in a map. I thought that putting it in the cd2.dat might help, but now that I think about it if I did that would the prey duplicate? The only reason why I say that is because I know that if I put prety in there normally I think that theres a chance that there are several that will spawn. I would appreciate it alot if I could have help. Thanks! farao

prey spawn for each player so, yeah, it'll duplicate no matter what. i think a lower spawn rate might effect how quickly a critter duplicates but i'm sure someone else knows more about that.
you can set a roam area for the critter and make the size for it 0. it won't move anywhere. you can also set it's decisionmin super high and the deviation to 0. i noticed with my own npcs that this causes them to sit still when i spawn them in via admin codes.

If you want a NPC to not duplicate like a critter you'll have to ask a programmer ^^

To stop a critter moving set speed=0 in CD1.dat
