PostSubject: Wounded & Reviving   Mon Apr 17, 2017 1:18 pm

So I've managed to get my wound bar to go down to revive characters, which is great, but it only starts to go down once the character has led down in water. If you're walking around, laying, sitting, or whatever on land, it stays fully wounded.

During laying down in water, the wound bar goes down ridiculously fast, your healed within 3 seconds.

But if you stop laying in the water and move onto dry land, the wound bar goes down normally, at the rate I'm happy with.

I do hope this made sense. I've trawled through a lot of support posts just to be able to get the bar to go down at all, but I can't quite fix this.

If it helps at all, here's my code.
Code:
//Recover from wound
 if (woundRecoveryTimer>0)
 {
 Real rate = 1;
 if (isSitting() || isLaying() || isSideLaying())rate = 25;
 if (isRolledOver() || isPlopped() || isLeaning() || isCurled())rate = 50;
 if (isInWater)rate *= 2;
 woundRecoveryTimer -= rate*evt.timeSinceLastFrame;
 }
 if (woundRecoveryTimer>0)return;
 woundRecoveryTimer += 0.100;
 //Recovered
 if (addHP(-1))setWounded(false);
}

Read through that one, applied the codes. Didn't help.

Like I said I've trawled through a lot of support posts regarding the wound bar issue.

Funnily enough it was actually two separate codes giving me the issue. The wound bar still goes down ridiculously quickly but I think I've figured out how to change the speed now. Sorry to be a pain! This is fixed now.
