hello everyone
so, I decided to ask.. because I'm confused.........
kino said, that blender also have "ogre .xml import", but I have only export.. Any ideas how to add this import? I'm using blender 2.49(and no, I don't think, that I'll use neswest versions e-e).

If it's the same exporter script that I linked here, then it should have an importer for xmls included to it. It's a bit touchy and some xmls I've noticed it just plain doesn't work with for some odd reason...(it's listed as OGRE in the scripts menu)

Redeye also has a ogre importer, though I have no experience in using it, it seems to be more thorough than the older one. found here

I saved the file to scrips, but it says "python error, check console".

Is it .xml and the console is just saying it's .mesh? or are you trying to import a .mesh? .mesh files need converted back into .xml to be imported.

Other than that...I'm afraid I don't have a solid answer. The python version that this version of blender calls for should be adequate for running those particular scripts.
