PostSubject: MiniMap is too small   Sat Jan 02, 2016 1:36 am

Hello everyone I have run into a small problem with the 'minimap' I have tried changing image sizes and it still turns out small. I used the original size first and it looks like a 50x50 square.

Spoiler:

I've never tried changing the minimap too much, but you can always try scaling it in the material file. Just find the GUI material and find:

Code:
material GUIMat/MiniMap
{
   technique
   {
      pass
      {
         lighting off
         scene_blend alpha_blend
         depth_check off

         texture_unit
         {
            texture minimap.png
            tex_address_mode clamp
         }
      }
   }
}

And underneath texture just add

scale 1.5 1.5

and just mess around with the numbers to see if that does what you want it to. :3

The mini map makes the game crash.

Code:
GUIOverlay/MiniMap
{
   zorder 490
   container Panel(GUI/MiniMap)
   {
      left 0.83
      top 0.02
      width 0.15
      height 0.2
      material GUIMat/MiniMap

I think Obey might have meant the gui.overlay o:

If not, try using the width and height underneath the
'{' before the material GUIMat/MiniMap

I knew it was somewhere ^^; Like I said, I've never messed with it. But just scaling it shouldn't have crashed you. -shrug-

Thank you for all the help! The mini map has been fixed I just had to tweak the height and the width to match the original. I can't believe when adding a mini map it messes up like that.
