PostSubject: Private bodies/parts + admin/mod shards? [solved, thanks]   Fri Oct 23, 2015 11:25 pm

Hello, everybody.
The question is it possible to make special bodies which are accessable in the character menu only to admins or/and mods, but regular players can't use them, but can see admins/mods using them.
I want those bodies to be the sign of staff instead of aureloas.

I couldn't find the answer on the forum.

[EDIT]: The second question is:
Is it possible to assign my own aura instead of 'Rising Shards'? I can't make myself remember where i've seen the code for admin aureola.

You can still rename the head/body/tails to headADMIN tailADMIN and bodyADMIN
and set these into the data and remove the aureola just an idea

I am sorry, where exactly?
[EDIT]: Ah.. wait, you mean in my character data, inside the server folder?
[EDIT2]: Nevermind, thank you! Got it.

I have no idea how you can still try to erase the texture and make it transparent

Your own auras ? you mean texture or aspect ?
Rising Shards is for Mod Auras

Well, for example i've made my own shard, say, it has the particles flying around the character, and i want it to be instead of 'Rising Shards' and 'Aureola'. Where in the code can i find these?

Look for "aureola" in FX.Particle

I guess, i should rename my own shard to 'Aureola' and then place it's settings into FX.Particle?
Or can i just add my own shard and put it into MagixUnitManager..?
Code:
void createAdminAura(MagixUnit *unit, const ColourValue &colour)
 {
 ParticleSystem *aura = createParticleOnUnit(unit,"MY_SHARD",-1,true);
 if(aura)aura->getEmitter(0)->setColour(ColourValue(colour.r,colour.g,colour.b,0));
 }
