Confused icea is confused

ANYWAYS

When i added a portal to one of my maps in my default map, it appeared white and i inserted the portal correctly. Heck, even the oIT default (which i still have the folder for some reason, i'm not even using the oIT maps o-o) has it typed the EXACT way, i even tried creating a "GrottoPortals.material" file and that still didn't work.

Poor confused me:

What did i do wrong this time? X3

If a map has a space in its name (for example Sweeping_Meadows, with an underscore) it seems to make the map's portal white. I don't know a fix for this though.

I'll try getting rid of the spaces.

guess that explains why portal images appear on the oIT map names such as Gorge and Waterfall x3

EDIT: okay nvm that didn't work o-o

Maybe make the portals section of the map all caps?

For example

PortalSweeping_meadows
Becomes
PortalSweeping_Meadows

I don't know for pos since I don't know a true fix for this.

I have capitals for my map, but no underscore. i'll add an Underscore in there :3

EDIT: I still have that marshmallow... but i noticed something

All the portals for the oIT maps such as Castle and Crater are a .jpg format, maybe if i make a new "portalMapName" file and make it a .jpg, maybe it might work.

but i can also try putting the file in there and making a grottoPortals.material file as well.

if there's a space in your map's name you just use an underscore in the portal material

example: Shrieking Hill

material Portal/Shrieking_Hill

the extension doesn't matter so long as it matches in the material file

the portal material has to be "Portal/MapName" otherwise it's going to be white.
