PostSubject: Jump Height Code   Sat Apr 11, 2015 1:35 am

Hi ^^

I just fixed up the Jump Gravity, but now, where in the code would I find to edit how high the character goes when you press Space or Double Space, because I think the character flies WAY too high when jumping. Just direct me to what part in the source code, what line, and what to change it to, I should be able to find it, I've read some C++ so some parts of the code should make sense to help me understand what and where.

Thanks in advance!

Well you're probably looking for things that addForce() to the Y axis in MagixUnit

Edit: Yep, that was it, fixed it. Now...rising and falling when flying is a bit fast, where would I find that?

That would be here right?

Code:
addForce(Vector3(0, 5, 0));

and set it to something lower is my guess. I'll experiment and see what happens.

Easiest way is just releasing your game with a config that has vsync enabled, framerate will be locked to 60 and all the framerate related issues goes away. Not really a fix for the bad code but it works.
