PostSubject: Connection Failing [SOLVED]   Sat Feb 14, 2015 3:44 am

As for compiling a new server,
We have come across a huge problem.
As I have done my best to help my friend, it has resulted in the same issue.
I have browsed around here for over an hour and tried many different things.

Okay, to the problem.
My friend has done all she has in working the server.
The loginserver and gameserver are the same. It is also in static

By any chance, does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you, a lot of appreciation given~
Also Happy Early Valentine's Day!

For the UDP/TCP thing you have to write a name like "IT1" "IT2" etc, and don't forget you have to access to your router and do the same as well.

You can still take a look here: http://www.kitopen.com/t2931-connection-issue-solved

"I'm running a Windows Server 2008, with a static IP, and I'm running the IP through DNSDynamic.org
I've done the same thing I've always done (for like 2 years now, hosting IT servers on and off), and the server says "Cannot Connect to server :C"
Not sure what's wrong, and since this has happened for a week or so straight... Its getting on my nerves.
I've tried turning off my virus program, making sure the game can go through...
The pictures my friend has posted, they've always worked before, so I know they dont need special labels, and the server manager spot is basically the firewall.
So, if I don't get this fixed, I hope someone has an idea. I'll be plugging in my hard drive to access the tutorial I made on server hosting - Hopefully it has the answer, but if not, help would be nice...

We managed to fix the issue.
Turns out that it was probably the computer or something because one of my other friends tried herself and it worked.

Message to all those that came across the same problem:
Actually look into the tutorials on how to make an IT server and follow the steps!
It will work but if you have further problems, I'm sure kito has solved them already~
