Azop seems to be having an issue similar to that of Lazy's

However, there is not one specific IP logged last, nor is there a specific time.

The servers will sporadically stop responding, and the last user varies between well-known players.

I figured this was an issue with the old version of Raknet, but I have updated Azop's files so we run Raknet 4

Any idea on the cause here? Twice it happened after banning someone as a test - not sure if that's a hint to look anywhere specific.

Just an update because this is still happening -

It crashes every time someone is banned, then periodically throughout the day. No specific time. No specific IP logged last. Wondering if I missed some coding somewhere?

To update RakNet I pasted my source files into a fresh KITO source and made edits to the servers and networking. Did I miss something? Could that be the cause?

Guess I'll run through KDiff again

We are using an updated Raknet as well and have discovered that it loses data like a leaky pipe. It uses so much data than the old one due to new features.

To give you an idea, we went from using up about 50-200MB a day on server traffic alone to 10GB a day. ._.

This causes more problems than ever - item loss, lag, player update issues and lots of server crashing.

I am not sure if this is why your server is going down so often, but it's the only thing I can think of if there's no specific IP tied to the crashes.

Just an update to what Obey has said.
We replaced our server yesterday with a newer faster one and the issue still remains.
Server went about 12 hours then the login server crashed.

I will have a chance to look into the excessive pings done by RakNet4 (vs. the Raknet 3.25 from 2008) again this week.
Trying to start up as an independent this week and quite busy already.

Thank you Lazy & Obey, it's good to know it's not just us (though unfortunate it's happening at all)

And thank you Redeye, your help is very much appreciated
