PostSubject: Questions List (Solved, thank you!)   Fri Oct 17, 2014 11:28 pm

So, I have a couple quick questions... Sorry if these have been answered before, I searched and didn't find anything so, here goes;

1. So I looked at a tutorial on making NPC's using Blender. Can anyone explain to me how to 'link' body parts? I got all of the parts I need to make a wolf NPC but I have no idea how to link parts in the new version of Blender, nonetheless export them into meshes and skeletons and whatsoever.

2. Can anyone supply me with the PvP code? I mean the code so that players can use PvP in EVERY map?

3. Can someone explain to me how to make like, 'shops' for a IT server? I've seen shop's in LM and I would really love to use shops in my own game as well. (I actually had the shops idea even before I saw LM, so don't say i'm stealing ideas because i'm not :\)

That's all for now, thank you!

ShadowBlade~

"linking" objects in Blender is simply selecting all the objects desired and then using the "join objects" option. usually located in the object mode menu. where that is for a version higher than 2.49, i haven't the foggiest. sorry.

this thread has the pvp code in one of the responses. Just scroll down till you spot it (it's pretty noticeable really). I recommend keeping pvp to obtainable skills and not just changing the base attacks to pvp....your players would not be able to hunt otherwise.

i have no knowledge on 'shops'. the reason it can only be found in LM is that it's code (and a few others) were never shared. you can try contacting Myz about it. never hurts to ask.

I've checked that thread before but all I found was to modify the godspeak, I don't see how I can make a obtainable skill out of that O.o?

you either add it or modify an existing one in the ad1.dat file......where the attacks information is...

just add a "hitAlly=true" to the attack code...
