PostSubject: Linux based server compile   Thu Sep 18, 2014 8:21 am

I am trying to compile the gameserver and loginserver to run on Debian based OS
My project is to run this server on a raspberry pi.
reasons being power consumption and stability of linux.

Any one have any ideas how to do this ?

Thanks in advance

I've tried to compile it and got errors ...raknet no matching function for call readcompressed(float)...

Also I've tried to run it with wine. Missing dlls, downloaded it and tried again but failed with errors.

I got it to run on wine however it resolves the incorrect IP address. I have since given up on this venture. what I eventually did is get a old dell server and install xenserver on it with a windows install. this worked well as the machine can also run my other linux based OS servers.

I am able to run it on archlinux with wine. For now it is without any problems.
