I apologize if this is a lot. x.x

1. I tried putting in Collboxes and they didn't work at all.
Any help?

2. This is a odd question but does anyone know of any free bandanna's or scarves? I am in need of those, but I sadly don't know how to use Blender yet.

3. I have the BJ animation (Manes) problem and the Blink animation problem (Bodies). I try to open them in OgreMeshy but nothing opens nor happens.

4. I've already asked about PvP, so has others but I still haven't found the answer.

5. I've seen people use models such as playable characters as statues/critters. Any help with doing that?

6. How to manage Admin/Mod powers.

EDIT: 7. How to change the Ogre picture when you first open the game. Where you choose your way to run it. If that makes sense.

8. Say I made a new Default map.. How do I make it so members/staff spawn in a certain spot?

I think that's it! I'll update if any more come to mind.

2.You can watch some on free 3D models websites. But here's a tutorial from ShadoWolfozo:

5.Somebody wrote the post how to do it..But I've lost the link..
6.Your game folder > server > Data > Your nickname's first letter folder > .character
At the end of the text you will see "false"
To be an admin you should rename the word "false" as "ok; 0 0 0". The numbers like "0 0 0" - the colour of aureola
To be a mod you should rename the word "false" as "mod" and done.
Codes for admins:
/goto -The name of the map-
/spoonitem -The name of the item-
/spoon -The name of the animal-
/godspeak -Your tex-
/kick -Player's nickname-
/ban -Player's nickname-; 200
(200 - number of days when player is banned)
Write without "-" of course
Mods can use:
/goto /kick and /ban

Thank you, but when I say modify the powers, I mean make it so like Mods can spawn items and such.

Thank you, but when I say modify the powers, I mean make it so like Mods can spawn items and such.

Just look in source...I was never thinking about it...

Paste the actual collbox code in your world file.

7. Use Resource Hacker to open OgreMain.dll and edit the image

For admin/mod commands, let's look in MagixGUI.h

Here's an admin only command:

If you wanted to make it so mods could spawn things, you'd change the first code to

(I haven't actually tested that, but it's what I assume you do Razz)

3. You need to convert the meshes's skeletons to xml using OgreConverter and remove the following animations

1. Ah, it needs to be [CollBox] not [Collbox]

5. Just like how you would place a rock or a tree. Just do it except use the critter you want.

...lol manes need skeletons. Convert the meshes to xml and if there's not skeleton attached, there's your problem.

1. Make sure you have no comments in your world file. (Such as //) Also make sure you're setting the collbox up right.

[CollBox]
position here (x, y, z coordinates)
size here (again, x, y, z)

2. Afraid I don't, but try looking around here or deviantART. You can usually find things, though on dA it will probably cost you some points.

5. You can add in the separate body parts you want in a map for a statue and add material files to them in the world file. If you want a custom player model animated as a critter, you'll need to find an animator willing and able to do that for you.

6. Admin/Mod powers are controlled on the server itself. If you want to make a player a mod, find their username in the 'Data' folder of the server, find the character file you want the powers on, open it and, where it says 'false' replace it with 'mod'. For an Admin, replace 'false' with 'ok;1 0 0'

The three numbers can be changed from 0 to 1 (including 0.3 etc) and that will be the colour of the admin aura for that character. (1 0 0 is red, it's straight RGB)

7. You must change this somewhere in the solution, don't know exactly where. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

8. Okay, here's an example...

[Initialize]
mapnameterrain.cfg
5000 - these two numbers are the map size, as you know
5000
1695 1837 53 - this is the position you tell players to spawn in. The first two are x and z coordinates, the third is the range from that spot that players can randomly appear in. Set this to 0 or 1 to have them appear in the same exact spot.

@Obey: The positioning works when teleporting. If you use /goto, you spawn on the map spawn point, or what's in the world file.
