PostSubject: How to connect myself as host?   Fri Aug 15, 2014 7:02 pm

Alright so I've finished everything for my IT server, but theres one problem. When I try to create a new account it keeps saying "Connection request failed :c" I think it's cause I'm not connected as host? But I'm new to this so I don't really know much about how to connect as host but I will try. Could someone please tell me how?

To connect yourself as a host(only you, nobody else will can P2P) you must put the IP address "127.0.0.1" in the source or in your dnsdynamic domain.

If what you want is to host for P2P, you must find out tutorials for your type  of router.

Firstly what is the setup like?
Is the IT server on the same machine you are trying to log in from?
If so then the localip.txt (which you might need to create) file in the client folder should contain 127.0.0.1. Else use the lan address of the server that you run the game server and login server on. Eg 192.168.1.10 in the localip.txt remembr to open the firewall ports 40000 and 40010 for tcp and udp
